Garden Room Studio is a trading name of Distribution Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Distribution Studio Ltdis the data controller for personal information you give us through this site. We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner's Office. Our registration number will be published on this page once it is issued.

What we collect

When you use the upload form, we collect your email address, phone number, postcode, the photo you choose to share, and the answers you give to the project questions (budget, timeline, ownership, and project size). We also collect basic technical data from your device, including your IP address and browser type, for security and analytics purposes.

Why we collect it

We use your information to render three design directions into your photo, to send those renders to you by email, and, if you choose to proceed, to introduce you to one matched UK installer near your postcode. We also use it to improve the service and to comply with our legal obligations.

Who we share with

We share your details with one matched installer only, and only after you have consented to that introduction. We never sell your data and we never share it with marketing networks.

Each processor is bound by a written data processing agreement and only uses your data on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry and the photo you upload for up to twenty four months from your last interaction with us, and then we delete it. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so within thirty days of your request.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or opt out of any further contact at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to keep the site working and to measure how it is used in aggregate. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
